French Onion Soup

An indulgent french onion soup perfect for the winter weather. Be sure to serve with cheesy bread!

Ingredients

  • 6 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bulb of turmeric
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • 2 liters beef stock

Method

  1. Slice onions, zest garlic and turmeric
  2. Heat oil and add sliced onions, zested garlic, and turmeric
  3. Add bay leaves, salt, and pepper
  4. Brown until soft
  5. Add beef stock and reduce
  6. Adjust seasoning and serve with crusty cheesy bread.
  7. Enjoy!
